Each ministry at River City helps meet a particular kind of need. Just like a regular family, we believe it is our responsibility as a church family to take ownership and "help out around the house." Getting involved with a ministry is a great way to discover how you belong to the larger church family. For more information about any of the ministries listed below, click its name or connect with the River City Office.
MINISTRY DESCRIPTIONS:

Learn foundational spiritual disciplines that will help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Providing groceries, meals, and friendship to our local neighborhoods.
Developing and maintaining our building, property, and vehicles — the physical hub of the River City community.
Encountering God and developing relationships to build a strong young adult community
(Ages 17-28).
We want to help you understand River City's culture as well as your own spiritual gifts and ministry strengths.
Participate in a community outreach with a team who serves a meal, creates art, and shares God stories (testimonies) with the folks who attend.
Teams of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving to help make River City as welcoming as possible.
A place that ELEVATES teens and young adults with special needs and different abilities through fun community activities.
Emotional, practical, and spiritual support group for single (unmarried) young pregnant women.
Offering Christ-centered childcare as well as specific educational programs for various ages through fifth grade.
Helping you gain freedom from negative strongholds in your life; changing repetitive, destructive, or addictive behaviors in small groups and/or one-to-one settings.
(6th Grade through High School)
Encouraging middle school and high school youth to have fun and build friendships while deepening their walk with Christ.
River City Church's missional outreach through our local and international Global Partners.
(Newborn through 6th Grade)
Weekly nursery care and kids' church during our services, and special family events throughout the year.
Small groups that meet for mutual encouragement, prayer, Bible study, and outreach. Some groups center around various activities and interests.
MARRIAGE & PREMARRIAGE
Married, engaged, or looking toward engagement? Build a strong and healthy marriage!
Providing opportunities for friendships, Bible-based teaching, and special events throughout the year for men.

PRAYER
Offering various prayer gatherings, groups and activities for connecting with God together.
Training and equipping believers to build one another up with prophetic words of encouragement from the Holy Spirit.

SMALL GROUPS

SOUND, VIDEO & LIGHTING
Set up and operate audio, video, and other visual equipment to provide the best experience possible during meetings and services.
STUDENT MINISTRIES

Providing opportunities for friendships, Bible-based teaching, and special events throughout the year for women.
WORSHIP ARTS
